A range of limited-edition fine art Giclée reproductions are available.
"Giclée" is the name given to digitally printed fine art images using a sprayed droplet system. Although the quality of both inks and media can vary a lot Paul Cato Giclée prints are produced with the highest quality Epson ink onto archival 100% cotton canvas with a weave almost exactly the same as the original paintings. Lightfastness is rated independently at more than ninety-five years.
Paul produces his own giclée fine art prints in his print studio on Epson Stylus Pro 9800 and Colorspan Displaymaker printers.
The editions are individually quality-controlled and strictly limited in number. Unless otherwise noted, large-size editions are limited to just 30 prints of each image. Medium and small sizes are limited to 75 of each size, keeping these editions very unique.
Each fine art giclée is personally signed and numbered by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Unless specifically requested otherwise, Paul Cato giclée reproductions are supplied rolled in a cardboard tube for easyf transportation. Any reputable framer can mount the canvas to standard art stretcher-bars or the canvas can be glued to an archival backing. However, Paul Cato recommends stretcher mounting as the archival quality of glues is often questionable.
